Florida is home to the world’s most famous recreational parks – Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort and Sea World.  It is a haven for tourists who want to explore the different attractions these parks offer.  It is therefore not surprising that you will find thousands of Kissimmee Vacation Homes, condominiums and hotels available to house those wishing to spend a few days or weeks here in luxurious comfort.  Whatever your lodging preferences are, there is something here for you.  This is one aspect of your vacation that you will not find Florida wanting.  In fact, you will find new hotels and community resorts still being developed.

Most vacationers prefer to stay in Disney World Hotels for their Disney adventure.  There are benefits to be had in doing so.  You get to have that extra Magical hours inside the park and you will not have difficulty going to and from the park with several mode of transportation available for your use.  Your kids will have that magical experience of being tucked in bed by their favorite Disney characters.  You also have the option of including a dining plan on your Disney vacation package, which makes dining extremely convenient while you explore the park.  Aside from hotel restaurants, you will find hundreds of dining options around the park.  While it has its perks, the downside to staying within Disney premises is the high price tag as well as the inconvenience presented if you also plan to explore Universal and Sea World.

If you want a bit more living space than a hotel room, you can try staying in Disney Condos.  This is a perfect option for small families especially if you also like to save on dining expenses by using the kitchen and preparing home cook meals.  As these condos have a resort style atmosphere, recreational facilities are available if you do not feel like going to the park.  For bigger families or groups, you may want to avail of vacation homes, each with a fully furnished kitchen and pool.  You will have that home away from home feel as well as the luxury of having the place all to yourselves.  You will have more dining options, as most of these vacation homes are easily accessible to local restaurants if you want to eat out instead of dining in.

Staying in Orlando Hotels within the theme park makes it easier for you to enjoy the nightlife offered by the different parks.  For example, Universal Resort has great restaurants, bars and live shows that you can enjoy.  You can take a breather after exploring Islands of Adventure during the day then trek to Universal City Walk for some nighttime adventure.  This is certainly more convenient if you are staying within the immediate vicinity of the park.

While you can find great hotels in Orlando, you should not rule out Kissimmee Hotels.  Do not think that because you are in Kissimmee you would be far from where the action is.  Just remember that most of Disney is located in Kissimmee so you would only be a couple of minutes away.  You will find that these hotels have great amenities and that these are less expensive as well.  You will also get to enjoy local Kissimmee attractions that include wildlife conservation parks as well as unique dinner shows that you should not miss during your vacation.

Disney World vacations are most fun if you are privy to vital information about your destination.  When you go on vacation, it is important that you know much about the place so that you can plan everything to perfection from attractions to accommodation.  It is not easy to find the time and the resources for your vacation, so it is important that you plan it well to make every moment count.  What are the things that you should know about Disney World so that you will have a most wonderful vacation?

You have to know what each park offers so you can plan how you are going to spend your Disney World vacations well.  Disney World has four major theme parks and each park offers a wide variety of attractions and entertainment.  You have to determine which park offers the kind of adventure that you are looking for.  Going to Magic Kingdom is like stepping into the world of Mickey and Disney fairytales.  At Epcot, you will venture into a futuristic world and travel to 11 countries.  Hollywood Studios will take you behind the scenes of hit movies and TV shows.  Animal Kingdom is the largest animal‑themed park in the world.  Plan your activities according to your interests or preferred attractions.  

It is also important that you understand how the ticketing system works.  Basically, you have three kinds of tickets.  The Magic Your Way ticket will allow you to visit one park each day.  As each park has plenty of attractions to offer, you may have to spend a considerable time at each park to enjoy them.  The Magic Your Way Park Hopper ticket will allow you to go from one park to another throughout the day.  If you do not have much time and you want to see the whole of Disney, then this is your ticket.  The ultimate ticket is the Magic Your Way Park Hopper with Water Park options.  Not only will you get the chance to visit the theme parks, but you can also check out the two water parks of Disney, namely, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.  Choose the ticket according to how you want to spend your time at Disney.

Having an itinerary will help you maximize your time.  However, you should also learn to be flexible with your schedule.  Remember that you go on vacations for fun and relaxation so do what feels like fun or interesting.  It does not matter if you were not able to do all the things in your list of planned activities as long as you enjoyed your time at the park.  Having a map of the area will help you find your way to the attractions of your choice as well as to the different shopping and dining destinations.  While you are getting your map, make sure that you also look into the schedule and location of Disney Character appearances.  Your visit to Disney will not be complete if you were not able to meet your favorite Disney characters.

Choosing your accommodation is also important when planning your vacation.  While you will find many Kissimmee hotels and Orlando hotels to your liking, you should consider staying at one of the Disney World hotels.  Staying here would mean having the chance to enter the park an hour before it officially opens.  You can also enjoy the convenience of having a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to all theme parks.  You can charge goods and services to your room.  However, if you preferred to stay at one of the Kissimmee hotels, you should look into the amenities and facilities that each one is offering so you can choose the one that suits you best.
